Mr. Soros, one of REF’s founders in concert with the World Bank, has been REF’s core funder since its establishment in 2005. REF’s staff introduced themselves and presented the results that his funding has made possible and how REF has reached out to over 400,000 beneficiaries with grants, projects, and programs to better Roma educational achievements in its seven years of operation. During his visit Mr. Soros reviewed REF’s current activities and expressed his support for the Fund’s future programming and advocacy.
