School Administration office of Belgrade city, together with the Roma Education Fund, conducted a survey about the educational status of Roma children resettled from the Gazela settlement and designed set of recommendations and programs of support aiming to encourage the creation of a child and community centred approach by involving parents in education processes and building trust between the Roma community and the partnering schools and pre-school institutions, with the support of civil society.
After the start of the program representatives of School Administration office of Belgrade city continues to monitor educational outcomes of resettled Roma children and will use collected data as a tool in making additional pressure on schools to look for more appropriate approach in teaching
