The Roma Education Fund together with the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation submitted a project within the framework of the call for proposals launched by the European Commission for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008.
The purpose of this call for proposals was to select seven emblematic projects in Europe, all illustrating the theme of intercultural dialogue. REF joined for cooperation; Beata Olahova, Manager of grant programs participated. Beata participated in a conference in August, prepared a policy paper, and at the closing of the one year project participated in the project evaluation.
The closing event was held in Brussels 4-5 December 2008.
