REF must report with great shock, sadness and grief the loss of our colleague, Nataša Kočić-Rakočević, after a long illness. Nadja was the well-known face of REF as the Country Director in Serbia. We have lost a dynamic personality, a big fighter and a committed individual who commanded the respect and admiration of those who had the honor of working with her over the past 15 years.
Among those with whom she worked most closely, her dedicated team at the REF Serbia office: “Nadja will be remembered as a strong, kind, dignified woman with limitless patience and understanding. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual but also for the unimaginable loss her family suffers. We are immensely proud to have had the honor to work with such a morally superior person. Her independent spirit and strength will continue to inspire us all.”
Nadja will be laid to rest on Tuesday, December 17. Our most deepest condolences go out to her family.
