Congratulations to our students enrolled in the Pedagogy Scholarship Program in Romania who have just completed their high-school graduation exams/ Baccalaureate! We are proud of you.
Many of them have been beneficiaries of Pedagogy Scholarship Program ever since they were 9th graders.The program is financed by the VELUX Foundations.
Ana Maria passed her exams with an average of 9.58 out of 10, and she’s already preparing her applications for two major universities. One is Babes-Bolyai, where she aims to pursue English and Korean language classes, as well as another degree in Theatre and Performing arts. The other one is the Bucharest University, where she is interested in the Foreign Language and Literature program. „The Pedagogic Scholarship program was a tremendous help, especially their English language tutoring, considering that I plan to continue my education in English. I learned a lot with this project, thanks to you, and I want to express my gratitude.”
Rebeca graduated with an average of 9.46, but her exams are far from over. She is now preparing for yet another test, for a position of elementary school teacher at a school in Slobozia. „I feel that education gives meaning to my life, this is what I want to do, to teach children, to be by their side, to help them grow into wonderful adults.”
Zsolt scored an impressive 9.15 average, and his mentor, Doru Dima, could not speak in higher praise of his former student, whom he guided ever since the youngster was in the 9th grade. „Zsolt is an outstanding young man, very well educated, very persistent. I am very proud of him. This program helped not only him, but me, as well, because it helped me achieve a better level of personal development.”
Mirabela passed her exams with an average of 9.36 our of 10. Just like Rebeca, she is now preparing for a position of elementary school teacher at a school in Ialomița county. She also plans to enroll to the University.
Ecaterina scored a 9.03. Now she is preparing her applications for Foreign Language and Literatures program at the Bucharest University.
